Product Availability Home Page At the bottom of this page you will find a table with a listing of the letter designations for current and future productions of The Golden Swing Thing™. If the lettered box is white, that indicates the production has yet to begin for that series. A green box indicates availability of product in that series. A red box means "Sold Out!" Below each letter designation is a number. That number tells you how many Swing Things are in that lettered series. I didn't run the numbers out to "Z" as they just get too astronomical. It's not likely I'll get there in my lifetime anyway :~) When you follow the link to the letter designation, a table will pop up in the left frame. Each product number in the table will be contained in a color coded cell which matches one of the colors in the table below.
Sold or Unavailable - self-explanatory Available - These are the original final prototypes. They feature an industrial looking center connection and fender washer as a pendulum attachment. The "non-extension" models are being sold at a 42% discount off the showroom product price of $129.50. The showroom product has brass center connectors and a brass pendulum attachment. Not yet Produced - The Swing Things are usually manufactured in round number lots. Production runs do not coincide with the serialization format. Imperfect - Each Swing Thing is inspected for imperfections. Some may have an excessive bow in the middle or imperfect turnings. Some may have "chunk outs" or other imperfections in the wood. These imperfect models will be made available for retro-fitting. This means they will be upgraded to brass connectors and brass pendulum attachment. The "non-extension" upgrades will be sold at a 15% discount off the showroom product price of $129.50. Super Freak - Some of the Swing Things come out really odd due to some error in the manufacturing process. I've labeled these as Super Freaks. There will usually be a link to an explanation and picture of its superfreakiness. Because of their rarity, I'm quite fond of holding on to the Freaks. Produced but Uninspected - This is the gray area. I can't give it a color designation until I inspect the product. |
