Save money! the last swing trainer you will ever need!

The Golden Swing Thing™

My original intention was to produce matching serialized versions of the training aid. There was a problem with this idea. This training aid is produced from hard rock Maple, a natural product. Since the density of wood varies, I found that one half of the product would weigh significantly more or less than the other half. In an attempt to balance out the product, I weighed out each portion and matched them accordingly. Therefore, the serial numbers for balance sets will be different. In very rare cases, a matching serial set also happens to balance. This is a rare event! Follow this link for an example.

The portion below remains so that the viewer or purchaser can understand my original intent.

As mentioned in a page on the public site, the product I will be releasing to the public will be serialized to ensure its collectability.

Part of the reason for the product being named "The Golden Swing Thing™" is the manner of its serialization. In the table below you will find a depiction of the letter/number serialization format. Click on the links below to answer questions about the serialization.

General Format

The lettering portion of the serialization scheme denotes Fibonacci groupings. For more on that see "What is Golden?"

Each lettered column (except the first two) has a product count equal to the product count of the previous two columns combined. See table below.

For example: 144 "C" models have been produced. That's equal to 89 "B" models plus 55 "A" models. The product loses rarity as we move toward "Z" and gains rarity as we move toward "AAA".

Also, the rate of rarity stays at the same pace throughout.

The rarity of "C" compared to "D" is the same as the rarity of "P" compared to "Q".

See the rarity ratios at the bottom of the table.

Why twenty-one?

I started the first group at twenty-one because that's how old I was when I played my first round of golf. Thirty-four is also significant. That's how old I was when the full vision of the idea came to form. It was at this age that I built the first fully functional prototype of The Golden Swing Thing™.

Why "AAA" and "AA" and "A"

This is simple. The thing cannot get moving without taking a term, adding it to another term, and getting the sum of those two terms. Therefore the single/double/triple "A" letters was a good way to kick the thing off. Plus I'm trying to hit a homerun with baseball prospects as well as golfers.

This device was developed specifically for golf, but it is also excellent for improving baseball and tennis skills.

What does the "F" extension mean?

The general format demonstrates the rarity between the serial prefixes A, B, C, D, etc. The "F" extension demontrates the rarity within each designated lettered series. The "F" extension is placed on every Fibonacci number in the group.

For example: In the "AAA" series there are twenty-one total products designated with the AAA prefix. Out of those only seven have the "F" suffix designation.

In each succeeding series only one "F" extension is added (except when the "B" extension is initiated). Therefore the "F" suffix products become more rare with each succeeding series.

What does the "B" extension mean?

The Golden Swing Thing is really comprised of two models. There is a Men's model and Ladies model. The Men's model is being introduced first. This is the one that the product testers are working with. The Ladies model is mostly for very petite women and juniors. Please note however that most women can work with the Men's model without a problem.

The Ladies model will get "L" extensions instead of "F" extensions and will follow the Lucas series. However there will not be any "AAA" or "AA" versions. The first Ladies models will be the "A" series and will run A-1L through A-47L.

Every Ladies model will have a corresponding Men's model,  but not every Mens model will have a corresponding Ladies model. The Mens models without a corresponding Ladies model are designated with a "B" extension. They are the Bachelors.

The "B" extensions grow along the Golden Proportion but lag behind the letter designated prefixes. The Bachelors also display rarity within the series.

top of page
What does the "FB" extention mean?

Starting with the "A" series this extension designates the last model in any particular letter designated series. The "AA" and "AAA" series do not have any bachelors in them. Those designated "FB" are both bachelors and Fibonaccis. Only one is produced for each series. I may auction these off in the future.
